Apple’s new Mac OSX10.8 Mountain Lion is spotted to be a revision of February’s Mountain Lion only with some new feature updates. A convenient Notification Center lifted from iOS and icloud are some additions to previous version. Have a look upon some of its attractive features:
NOTIFICATION CENTER: In Apple’s Mail app one can star people, and mails of starred people only appear in the Notification Panel which is a great way to keep track of important mails. NEW TWITTER FIELD is an add-on Notification Center.
iCLOUD: Mountain Lion has integration of new cloud features with many of the apps. There’s a new remarking feature for those with a brand-new Mac as now they will be able to sign in through the Setup Assistant with their Apple ID and sync all their settings along with their apps. By entering their Apple ID, their e-mail, contacts, calendars, Facebook and Twitter accounts, and more will automatically be synced up with other devices and made ready for use on their Mac. And icloud is in fact best expect of OS X 10.8 new apps: Messages, Reminders, Contacts, Calendar, Notes and Game Center.
AIRPLAY MIRRORING lets one beam anything(including Adobe Flash and Microsoft Silverlight content, DVD discs, and any other video playback app)that is played on Mac screen to any Apple TV or AirPlay enabled receiver or projector.
Also Safari’s new unified address bar, like Google’s Chrome, can now accept search queries and web addresses in the same field. Another nice stuff is preview in Spotlight, that activates as you scroll down the results.

Some of the features which are rated below average is its GAME CENTER (has basic features), DICTATION (can’t be used offline as voice is translated at Apple’s servers) and GATEKEEPER (although it prevents unsecure browsing but it seems to be unnecessary).
Mac OSX10.8 Mountain lion has some many good features, mostly based on the idea of making current common processes easier, adding more sharing and cloud features across all the devices. Apple says that Facebook integration will come in a later free update this fall. But Apple needs to come up with a new vision to compete with windows 8 of Microsoft!
